Branchlet of Mr. Tăng-Ngưng

(8^th and 9^th generations included).

            Mr. Tăng-Ngưng (1898-1946), aka Thanh-Chi, member of the 8^th  Tăng generation, is the 9^th son of Mr. Tăng-Thức and Mrs Lê-thị-Thuận. Graduated from the Indochina Law School of Hà-Nội, Việtnam, he was the assistant of the French Governor of Hội-an city. His Kingdom rank was Hồng-Lô-Tự-Khanh.

            He had 2 wives :

            Mrs. Phan-thị-Lạc, daughter of Mr. Phan Ngọc Cư, a resident of Hội-an, had 8 children :

1-Tăng-Trừng (deceased)    2-Tăng-Khiết                         3-Tăng-thị-Lan-Hương (deceased)

4-Tăng-Tế                               5-Tăng-thị-Liễu-Diệm (deceased)      6-Tăng-Cảnh (deceased)                               7-Tăng-Hoạt (deceased)      8-Tăng-Phiếm (deceased).

            Mrs. Nguyễn-thị-Nở, a nurse (deceased), daughter of Mr. Nguyễn-tấn-Lợi (a former local district administrater of Long-xuyên province) and Mrs Công-Tằng-tôn-nữ-thị-Lan.  Mrs. Nguyễn-thị-Nở had 5 children :

                              1-Tăng-thị Ái-Liên (deceased)   2-Tăng-thị Hồng-Hạnh (deceased)   3-Tăng-Đảng

                              4-Tăng-Hoán (deceased)            5-Tăng-Nồng.

Branchlet of Mr. Tăng-Dục

(8^th, 9^th, 10^th and 11^th generations included)

            Mr. Tăng-Dục (1902-1994), aka Hoán-Chi, is the last son of  Mr. Tăng-Thức and Mrs. Lê-thị-Thuận. Graduated from the School of Pedagogy in Hà-Nội, Việtnam, he was a former professor of the Khải-Định high school, and then a former representative of city Hội-an in the South Việtnam Congress. His Kingdom rank was Thị-độc học-sỹ (tứ phẩm).

            His 1^st rank wife, Mrs. Nguyễn-thị-Lang (1913-1971), was daughter of Mr. Nguyễn-văn-Hoành (a former local district administrator of Khánh-Hòa province and a resident of village Hòa-Phong, district An-Nhơn, province Bình-Định). Mrs. Nguyễn-thị-Lang had only one son, Mr. Tăng-Hồng (1928-1965). Tăng-Hồng’s wife, Mrs. Phạm-thị Kim-Chi, had no children. His girlfriend, Đoàn-thị-Nhẩn, gave birth to a daughter named Tăng Đoàn Anh-Đào (1956). With Phạm-phi-Hùng as husband, Anh-Đào had a daughter named  Phạm-thùy-Ngọc (1979).

Before his 1^st marriage, Mr. Tăng-Dục had a girlfriend who had with him a son named Tăng-Thiện (1924-1947).

His 2^nd wife is Mrs. Hoàng-thị Xuân-Diệu.

Note : The children of Mr. Tăng-Ngưng and Tăng-Dục are members of the Tăng 9^th generation. Their grand children are in the 10^th generation. Mr. Tăng-Dục’s great daughter, Phạm-thuy-Ngoc, belongs to the 11^th generation.
